Privacy Policy
Who we are
Atlas is made by BMS AI Labs Ltd, a company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: support@atlas3d.si.
This policy covers the Atlas desktop application, the Atlas account service and this website.
Your account
You sign in to Atlas with your Google account. From Google we receive only your Google account identifier, your email address and your name. We do not receive your password or profile picture, and we do not get ongoing access to your Google account: Atlas asks Google for the basic sign-in permissions (openid, email, profile) and nothing else.
We store this account data together with a record of your installation (installation identifier, platform, application version, update channel, first and last time seen). On your computer Atlas keeps a session token and your name and email in its own settings folder.
Technical events
Atlas sends technical events to our servers together with its update checks. Every event passes a fixed filter that allows only the fields listed below. The events are:
- Start: application version, platform, data format version and which AI providers you are signed into (provider names only).
- Work turn: AI provider, model name, working mode, outcome (done, failed or stopped) and duration in seconds.
- Tool call: tool name, outcome, error code and duration in milliseconds.
- Memory level: whether the application window is within its memory limits, memory used and installed.
- Crash: which component failed, error kind and code, and code locations inside Atlas.
- Update: update state and version.
- Dropped events: how many events could not be sent because the queue was full.
Technical events contain no text you typed, no file names or paths, no scene contents and no images.
Problem reports
Only when you press "Report a problem" does Atlas send a report. It contains the last hour of the technical log (through the same filter as above), crash details, the comment you wrote, and basic machine information: Mac model, operating system version, processor architecture, memory size and number of processors. The report is linked to your account. Our team is notified of a new report with your name, email, application version and the beginning of your comment.
What stays on your computer
Your conversations with Atlas, your scenes and files, images of your work, the memory Atlas keeps about your projects, and the credentials of your own AI subscriptions never leave your computer through us. Atlas works with your own OpenAI or Anthropic subscription directly from your machine: what you send to that provider is governed by its own terms and privacy policy, not by ours.
This website
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes connection data such as your IP address and the requested page in order to deliver and protect the site.
Why we use this data
- to create and operate your Atlas account and keep your installation up to date;
- to keep Atlas working, find and fix defects, and watch the health of installations;
- to answer your problem reports and requests;
- to protect the service against misuse.
We rely on our agreement with you (the Terms of Use) for the account and updates, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the software reliable and secure for technical events. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare hosts our account service, its database and this website.
- Google provides the sign-in; we only receive the data described above.
- Telegram delivers the notification about new problem reports to our team.
These providers may process data outside the country you live in. We use them under their standard terms for business customers.
How long we keep data
We keep account and installation data for as long as your account exists. We keep technical events and problem reports for as long as we need them to support and improve the software. A sign-in attempt that is not completed is deleted after ten minutes. Signing out of Atlas ends the session on our side. You can ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Write to support@atlas3d.si; we answer within thirty days. If you are in a place whose law gives you further rights, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority, those rights apply as well.
Security
Data travels to our servers only over encrypted connections. Session tokens are stored on our side only in hashed form. Access to the data is limited to the people who operate Atlas.
Children
Atlas is a professional tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
When this policy changes, we publish the new version on this page with a new date.
